Welcome to Just Clowning Around of Northern Virginia's (JCA) website. We hope that you can find the information you are looking for.

Just Clowning Around of Northern Virginia (JCA) was founded in February of 1985 as a not for profit organization for clowns in the Northern Virginia and Washington, DC area. The members of JCA aren't just clowning around... They are children's entertainers. In addition to being clowns, most members also do other things including face painting, balloon twisting, magic, and juggling. JCA provides its members with a social network and learning opportunities to grow their skills. JCA members provide community service by offering their clown services to other local nonprofit organizations and by participating in area parades. JCA accepts donations for their performances and then turns those donations around to an annually selected charity.

Updated calendar with 2012 meeting dates. Added news from 2011.

January 2011
Updated calendar with 2011 meeting dates. Added news from the 2nd half of 2010.

July 2010
JCA is planning our 2nd annual Open House.

April 2010
Added news from our recent events including the trip to see the Big Apple Circus and the YMCA Healthy Kids Day.

December 2009
Added new pictures from the Safe Places Holiday Party and the Fantasy Flight.

November 2009
Added new pictures from the Vienna Halloween Parade.

August 2009
Added new pictures from the Open House and Prop Swap.

July 2009
JCA is planning an Open House.
Added new pictures of the City of Fairfax Independence Day Parade 2009.

June 2009
Added new picture pages including pictures from the Falls Church City Memorial Day Parade and JCA's Picture Day in May 2009.

February 2009
The new JCA website was officially released on February 11th, 2009. New content will be added on a monthly basis or as content is submitted.

December 2008
The JCA website is being redesigned. Just about everything is new.
